# Reflection Template For Asmo Food
For each loss, name one primary cause and one secondary cause.
For each win, name the card, package, or tactical policy that most contributed to the win.
Classify each result as a card quantity problem, card selection problem, mana problem, tempo problem, matchup problem, sideboard problem, pilot sequencing problem, or closing-power problem.
Report mana performance, sideboard impact, stranded cards, overperforming cards, underperforming cards, and whether the Deck Strategy or Tactical Policy guidance was followed.
- Deciding factor: identify whether the game was decided by early engine assembly, `Urza's Saga` pressure, `Galvanic Blast` reach, Food removal, graveyard disruption, sideboard hate, or failure to convert resources into damage.
- Mulligans: record whether the opener had a credible first-two-turn plan with lands, artifacts, `Mox Opal`, `The Underworld Cookbook`, `Faithless Looting`, `Asmoranomardicadaistinaculdacar`, `Inti, Seneschal of the Sun`, or `Urza's Saga`; flag keeps that needed multiple perfect draws.
- Mana: note every game where `Mox Opal` was inactive when needed, `Sacred Foundry` or `Elegant Parlor` sequencing delayed a spell, fetchland choices constrained white or red access, or `Sokenzan, Crucible of Defiance` was better as a land than a channel effect.
- Velocity: ask whether `Faithless Looting`, `Inti, Seneschal of the Sun`, `Artist's Talent`, `Hardened Academic`, and `Monument to Endurance` produced enough card flow or pressure before the opponent’s plan became decisive. Card text check required for exact trigger and ability evaluation.
- Engine quality: track whether `The Underworld Cookbook` plus `Ovalchase Daredevil` created repeated material, whether Food was saved for `Asmoranomardicadaistinaculdacar`, and whether sacrificing artifacts weakened `Mox Opal`, `Galvanic Blast`, or `Urza's Saga` Constructs.
- Removal timing: review every `Galvanic Blast`, `Asmoranomardicadaistinaculdacar`, `Prismatic Ending`, `Wear // Tear`, and `Pyroclasm` use for whether it answered the threat that mattered over the next turn cycle.
- Sideboard accuracy: check whether `Relic of Progenitus`, `Pithing Needle`, `Vexing Bauble`, `Drannith Magistrate`, `Obsidian Charmaw`, `Pyroclasm`, `Prismatic Ending`, and `Wear // Tear` were live against visible public information or stranded by matchup misread.
- Closing: record whether wins came from `Urza's Saga` Constructs, repeated `Monument to Endurance` pressure, creature combat, `Galvanic Blast` reach, or opponent resource collapse; flag games where the deck stabilized but failed to end the game.
- Role: ask whether the pilot correctly shifted between engine midrange, artifact beatdown, graveyard-control, and disruption-plus-clock, especially after sideboarding.
- Mistakes: identify missed land drops, premature Food use, unnecessary legend exposure, low-impact `Relic of Progenitus` activation, wrong `Pithing Needle` name, and attacks that exposed needed blockers.
- Stranded cards: log cards that stayed uncast or low-impact in hand for three or more turns, especially duplicate `Asmoranomardicadaistinaculdacar`, inactive `Mox Opal`, narrow `Vexing Bauble`, expensive sideboard cards, or unenabled synergy pieces.
- Overperformers and underperformers: compare card impact by game state, not only by final result; a card overperformed if it changed legal choices or forced the opponent off a plan, and underperformed if it was available but did not affect survival, engine velocity, or closing speed.
