For each loss, name one primary cause and one secondary cause.
For each win, name the card, package, or tactical policy that most contributed to the win.
Classify each result as a card quantity problem, card selection problem, mana problem, tempo problem, matchup problem, sideboard problem, pilot sequencing problem, or closing-power problem.
Report mana performance, sideboard impact, stranded cards, overperforming cards, underperforming cards, and whether the Deck Strategy or Tactical Policy guidance was followed.
- Deciding factor: Record whether the game was won by early Ragavan, Nimble Pilferer pressure, burn reach, a Blood Moon or Magus of the Moon constraint, a planeswalker snowball, creature-land damage, or a large closer such as Wurmcoil Engine, Chandra, Awakened Inferno, Ugin, the Ineffable, Ugin, Eye of the Storms, Overlord of the Boilerbilges, or Caldera Breaker.
- Mulligans: Note whether the opener had early red mana, a turn-one or turn-two play, and a path to use Ragavan, Nimble Pilferer before commander tax made the hand slow. Flag keeps that relied on Cavern of Souls, Mutavault, Faceless Haven, Den of the Bugbear, or Gemstone Caverns without enough red sources.
- Mana: Track whether utility lands won value or caused missed casts. Specifically review Castle Embereth, Barbarian Ring, Ramunap Ruins, Mines of Moria, Sokenzan, Crucible of Defiance, Shatterskull Smashing, Sundering Eruption, Gate to Tumbledown, and creature-land activations against Blood Moon, Magus of the Moon, and Winter Moon.
- Velocity: Record whether Light Up the Stage, Chandra, Dressed to Kill, Chandra, Torch of Defiance, Laelia, the Blade Reforged, Inti, Seneschal of the Sun, Fable of the Mirror-Breaker, Seasoned Pyromancer, Kayla's Kindling, or Visions of Phyrexia produced usable cards or stranded exiled/timed cards.
- Engines: Identify which engines demanded removal or took over unanswered: Grim Lavamancer, Breeches, Eager Pillager, Broadside Bombardiers, Magda, the Hoardmaster, Gut, True Soul Zealot, Koth, Fire of Resistance, The Irencrag, Ruby Medallion, Arcane Signet, and Mind Stone.
- Removal: Review whether Flame Slash, Strangle, Chain Lightning, Lightning Bolt, Unholy Heat, Mine Collapse, Pyrokinesis, Fury, Bonecrusher Giant, Mephit's Enthusiasm, Molten Impact, Burn Down the House, Shove Aside, Suplex, Chaos Warp, and Glorybringer hit the threats that actually mattered.
- Closing: Record turns where the deck had the opponent low but failed to finish. Check whether burn was spent too early on creatures, whether creature-lands were left unused, whether Castle Embereth or Arena of Glory could have changed combat, and whether planeswalker damage modes were chosen too defensively.
- Role: Mark whether the pilot correctly switched between aggro, prison, burn-control, and tap-away finisher roles. Pay special attention to games where Blood Moon, Magus of the Moon, or Winter Moon delayed both players and made pressure more important than extra setup.
- Mistakes: Flag any action that ignored visible legal actions, attacked Ragavan, Nimble Pilferer into a bad block without a reason, used Chaos Warp on a low-impact permanent, wasted graveyard resources needed by Grim Lavamancer, Barbarian Ring, Unholy Heat, or Pyrogoyf, or tapped away before a known lethal response window.
- Stranded cards: List cards that remained in hand because of cost, timing, board state, or missing text certainty. Card text check required for Tersa Lightshatter, Kayla's Kindling, Visions of Phyrexia, Overlord of the Boilerbilges, Caldera Breaker, Hexing Squelcher, Impetuous Lootmonger, and Ugin, Eye of the Storms if their decisions affected the result.
- Overperformers and underperformers: Identify whether one-copy role cards actually justified their slots. Compare early creatures, burn spells, mana rocks, Moon effects, Chandras, colorless top-end, and creature-lands by games where they changed the outcome rather than by raw appearance count.
